Well it's time for the holiday spirit to get into full swing. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, this month is about giving. And this year, we'll be doing things a little differently this time around. To better simplify things, we're going to establish who would like to participate (as far as giving goes). The number of people on the giving side can decide how many pictures or stories they'd like to do. However, there is one catch.

Rather than randomize who draws for who, each person may decide who they want to draw or write something for. It will be first come, first serve. No one person may receive more than one gift art/story. If someone picks someone that was a first choice for you, then you'll need to choose someone else. This is in an effort to keep things fair so that no one is upset to see a certain person get more than another. There is far from a shortage of people to choose from. Naturally, not every single Member is going to be on this list. Then again, that isn't realistic no matter how you slice it.

So upon reading this, I call upon all willing artists and authors that are willing to participate in the spirit of giving and reply to this blog with the username of the person you wish to create something for. It can be anyone you want, whether they are part of this group or not. But they must be part of deviantART. The only catch, as previously stated, is that it's first come first serve. Whoever is picked will immediately be paired up with that person as the receipient. This of course means that there is no guarantee that those who are giving will also be a recipient to someone else. So I encourage you to choose a person who signs up as a participant for giving. It's not required, only encouraged.

When you reply with the person you want to draw or write a gift for, your name and the name (or names) of the people you wish to draw or write for will be added to a list in this blog.

The deadline for signups will be the 10th. After that, the event will officially be put under way. You'll have until the very end of the month to create your piece(s) for the person(s) you have chosen, which is 3 weeks. That should be plenty of time. There will be a special folder for where the finished artworks and stories shall go. At the start of the new year, all the pieces will be displayed on the front page.

So remember, every person may only receive ONE gift. If someone else chooses someone you wanted to draw for before you do, then you'll have to choose someone else. Now that's not to say more than one person may draw or write for the same individual. That's up to you. But in the spirit of this event, only one gift per person will be displayed and acknowledged within this club.

TL;DR Version - Post a reply with the username(s) of the people you wish to draw or write a gift picture or story for and that person(s) will be assigned to you. No one else may choose that same person(s) once they are picked. It's first come first serve for who you get to choose. The recipient may choose the giver in return, as long as no one else has chosen that giver yet. You may choose as many different people as you're able/willing to accomodate.

Deadline for signups is December 10th. Deadline for completing your gift pictures and stories is December 31st. All gifts will be featured on the front page on January 1st.
